Fancy Bunny Chow

Muddy buddies, puppy chow…whatever you normally call it, this month it’s Bunny Chow and it’s gettin fancy! Below find the recipe for this fun and festive treat to make for Easter!

Ingredients

  • 9 cups Chex Cereal

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 bag pastel M&Ms (or other Easter candy)

  • Fancy Sprinkles* & Prism Powder

*I used the “Hey Jude” blend of the new Spring collection

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, measure out cereal and put to the set aside.

  • In a microwavable bowl, microwave white chocolate chips, butter, and peanut butter uncovered on High for 1 minute. Stir until smooth. Heat in 30 second increments if more time is needed.

  • Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.

  • Add half of the powdered sugar into a 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag, pour cereal mixture into the bag and then add the remaining powdered sugar.

  • Seal bag and shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Add in candies, Fancy Sprinkles and dust on Prism Powder

  • Enjoy!

    Keep the mix stored an airtight container in the refrigerator
